365 Cards - Day 51 - Photo Inspiration

Today at 365 Cards the inspiration came to us in this picture:

My muse is sadistic. I made the decision earlier today to take today off. I thought I would make my card tomorrow. Tonight was a bit busy, getting back to school after spring break, I had to mail some books, the girls needed new binders, etc. So in order to help take stress off of me, I was going to take the night off. BUT, it happened again, I passed by my craft space on the way to tuck the little darlings into bed, and BAM, that little muse smacked me in the forehead. ;->

So, here is the card.

I used a square card that I bought at Michaels (8 w/envelopes for $1.00), A Heidi Swapp flower, Sizzix die cut frame out of Bazzil Bling, and Forest Friends flower/brad thingie. Just lightly inked the embossing on the card with light blue, red and black ink. Stuck everything on and here you go.

Thanks for looking.

I am glad you received that smack as you went pass your craft room.
I just love your card - the flower off the frame looks fantastic.

I like what you did with this challenge! It is really neat how you used that flower. I like how you didn't do such a literal take on it like I did too.

Neat card Jana. I bought those same square cards at Micheals too, in about every color. They sold out quickly. Did you know it costs one forever stamp and $.20 additional postage to mail the square envelope? The lady at the post office wanted me to just but 2 $.42 stamps to mail it,I chuckled and said, why would I do that? I'd be paying $.20 too much to mail it!
